Spring and Summer Vacation Ideas

Spring and summer are just around the corner. So it's time to start thinking about Family Spring and Summer Vacation ideas. No idea where to go? Let us help you with some great money saving locations.

You can easily create memories of a life time with very little planning.

The new hot spot:

I like to keep our readers up to date on new hot spot openings so here is the latest in Atlanta Georgia: If you have seen one aquarium you have seen them all, right? Try this 8 million gallon, 500 species and more then 100,000 yes 100,000 animals on for size! The world's largest aquarium has just opened in Atlanta Georgia. Designed to look like a ship breaking through the ocean waves the aquarium has 5 different galleries with sea horses, jelly fish and much more including whale sharks. If you are thinking Theme Park Family Vacation but are worried about lines and crowds think of California. Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, or Universal Studios. Most California families leave town for Mexico for spring break leaving you less crowds!! With the Disneyland turning 50 you can get some great stay and kids fly free deals through April 25th. Always wanted to visit Hawaii? Well now's the time. You will find discounts galore if you plan to visit mid April to mid June. Perfect timing for an April spring vacation or maybe plan to go the week before the kids get out of school a lot of times this is not a too busy time at there school that they could miss a few days! March/April Spring Break? Thinking of International travel? Then Europe is definitely worth checking into. Airfare and hotel prices drop considerably in price from November through March. They are predicting airfares to rise for summer so spring break would be the time for this trip.

If you want to settle in to one place and call it home no packing or moving until the vacation is over you should consider renting a cabin, bungalow, condo or cottage depending on if you want to go to Florida, the mountains or a beach getaway.

Wanting to get the kids to appreciate nature? Consider a trip to Jackson Hole with great naturalist lead hikes you will get to see great mountains, beautiful lakes and perhaps a heard of buffalo or elk! Jackson Hole Vacations

You would love a vacation but have summer sports to consider or dad or mom's work schedule is a problem? Do what a lot of families do and head for a Mini vacation 1-2 nights max at a nearby (in your home town) motel/hotel with a pool. This is great fun! Plan to stay as long as the kids want in the pool and order pizza in the room and watch movies or play games. Sometimes you can find a motel right next door to mini golf or a Funplex that is just a bonus!! We have one that is 20 minutes form our house in Auburn, WA with a great pool and huge Family fun park next door, with mini golf, go-karts, batting cages, indoor games and more. We have created great family memories and if there is a problem we're only 20 minutes form home.
