It is that time of year again, time to plan your spring vacation if you haven’t already, but definitely time to start working on your summer family vacation plans.
With the fall in gas prices and therefore airline prices, airfares are back within our family vacation reach again. So, if you have been waiting to take that airplane trip, this spring and or summer would be the time, as unfortunately they are predicting gasoline prices to slowly rise again!
Those of you wanting a Disney vacation this is the year as they are running some great deals. Kids fly free to Disneyland is back, if you book by March 18th, stay three nights and get the forth free and of course the much advertised get in free for your birthday deal. Wouldn’t that make your child feel special to go to Disneyland or Disney World for their birthday? I am not sure how you would top it next year but this year sure would be great!
For those of you wanting to try out the all inclusive cruise ship vacation, Disney has some great 3 and 4 night package deals for Disney cruises in the Bahamas, including a stop at Disney’s private Island Castaway Cay. This would give you a chance to see how your family does on a cruise without committing to 7 days. Check out these links:
For those of you interested in this 3 day cruise option but are not living on the east coast, don’t be discouraged. Other cruise lines are also adding three day cruises to their roster, two cruise lines with such short cruises are Carnival Family Cruise and Cruisedirect.com

Travel Warning - For those of you thinking Mexico I would reschedule or delay those plans and revisit them perhaps next year. Even the state department has issued a warning against visiting Mexico due to the violence. The risk is just not worth it for your family.
